Condolence service of P Nogi Isaac held at Maram

Condolence and funeral service of late P Nogi Isaac, deputy kilonser i/c executive officer, Maram Thangal Region (MTR) CAA, NSCN/GPRN was held on Wednesday at N Raisung Ground Maram Bazar under the aegis of Maram Union.
The service was held with the slogan, "Tell them of us and say; for your tomorrow, we give our today", said a release issued by Maram Union.
Moderating the programme, Maram Union general secretary, Pungdi P Celestine stated that there is a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot; a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance.
In his welcome remark, president K Raisong stated that with hundreds of people attending the condolence service from far and near on immediately learning the demise of the departed soul has shown the amount of love to P Nogi and Unity of the Maram People.
Horyaola Nogi, wife of the departed, expressed that her husband was a strong-willed man with integrity and principle.
Kilonser Mozamo Ngulle in conveying the condolence message of NSCN/GPRN, Kilo Affairs, declared that for the selfless contribution of P Nogi to the Naga National cause, his name shall be archived in the pages of the Naga history and shall be remembered for all times to come.
Maj General (Retired) Ramkathing Varah, Convenor PAC pointed out that the loss of P Nogi is not only a loss for the Maram people but for the Naga Nation as well.
UNC general secretary, S Milan said the Indian agency and machineries should not provoke the Nagas when ceasefire and the Indo-Naga political talks is on while adding that unity is the strength of Nagas, it is not the size of population or possession of advanced technology that deter the adversaries but it is unity of the Nagas.
President NPO, Solomon Arow said P Nogi had contributed for the Naga Nation what he could during his lifetime and his sacrifices will be in the hearts of the people and shall be recorded in history.
Naga Women Union Manipur president Asha Wungnam recalled him as a committed person towards the aspirations of the Nagas with humility.
In reflection and Eulogy, former Minister Francis Ngajokpa and former Deputy Speaker K Raina had requested to constantly pray for the well-being of his wife and the two young children left by the deceased.
ANSAM president, Thiirtung Wanglar conveyed that through the loss of P Nogi, the Naga people have lost a true son of the soil, who had given his all for the Naga's Nation fight for liberty and self-determination.
SDSA president Pung Mark and SDWA president RN Hanah expressed resentment and anguish over the unfortunate incident that led to the death of P Nogi at Bakie Village, allegedly triggered by 33 Assam Rifles.
Various CSOs including Maram Thangal Council, Thangal Union, Maram Women Union, Maram Students' Union, NMPO, MBYSO; different NSCN/GPRN regions including Wung Tangkhul Region, Maram-Thangal Region, Shepoumaramth Region; National Socialist Women's Organization of Nagalim ( NSWON); Haothrong Brigade; ranks and files of NSCN/GPRN conveyed condolences at the demise of P Nogi.
Earlier, MBBC deacon Rangsarang invoked God's blessing while acknowledgement was proposed by chairman of Maram Bazar Village Authority, Taruba; and the funeral rite was performed by MBCC local pastor, Takjang.
