Educational institutes allowed to reopen

The state government has allowed reopening of educational institutions including residential schools, hostels, boarding schools, coaching institutes and institutions under different ministries of Government of India operating in the state with effect from Thursday.
As per an office memorandum issued by commissioner (education) M Harekrishna, the government has allowed reopening of the educational institutes and resuming of normal classes in the state considering the considerable improvement in Covid-19 situation in recent weeks and the rate of vaccination among teachers, staff and students of the state.
However, all the educational institutions shall reopen with strict observance of SoP/Guidelines issued by Health Department for safety of students, teachers and all stakeholders, it said.
Teachers, students and guardians should adhere to Covid Appropriate Be haviour and all government instructions/ relevant SoPs, as issued by government from time to time, it reiterated, adding that all educational institutes should display prominently the number of vaccinated and un vaccinated teachers and staffers.
