MIAs visit relief camps; essentials distributed

Wangjing Tentha MLA Paonam Brojen visited relief camps opened at Wangjing Kodompokpi Sports Complex, YVA com-munity hall, Wangjing Sk Leikai and Pioneer Club, Wangjing Hodamba and distributed relief items on Thursday as Khangabok MLA 0 Surjakumar inspect-ed the relief camp opened at Khangabok Higher Sec-ondary School presently sheltering 170 displaced persons from Churachan-dpur and Moreh.
He also had a review meeting with regard to the camp run by Khangabok Relief Committee under the aegis of Thoubal dep-uty commissioner Thoubal Ahanthem Subhash with the DC, SP Jogeschandra Haobijam, former Khang-abok MLA L Jatra and Zilla Parishad member Kh Ra-jmohon.
At the meeting, he as-sured all possible assistance from his side to make life comfortable for the inmates of the camp.
DC Subhash and SP Jo-geschandra also assured to provide all necessary requirements for the camp.
On the other hand, La mya nba Enterprises proprietor Elangbam Am-itkumar distributed essen-tial items at relief camps of Lotus Club, Hiyanglam Mayai Leikai community hall; Hiyanglam Girls Junior High School and Lamjao on Thursday.
Similarly, Leimakhong Military Hospital's Meetei staff provided relief items including medicines for vi-olence-affected people at Hiyanglam Girls Junior High School, Kakching district and Sunu Siphai, Bishnupur district.
