Imphal, February 17 2023:
As a part of its CNR (Campaign for National Regeneration), the Alliance for Socialist Unity, Kangleipak (ASUK) has imposed certain restrictions regarding the Class X and Class XII examinations conducted by CBSE, CoHSEM and BoSEM.
A press release issued by the ASUK CNR Special Task Force (STF) commander Deepak informed that the CNR would be reinvigorated to its usual pace from the current year even though it lost its steam to some extent in the last couple of years due to unavoidable circumstances.
It then laid down certain dos and don'ts which should be followed by everyone regarding the CBSE's Class X and XII exams (February 24 to April 5), CoHSEM's Class XII and Class XI exams (which start from February 23 and February 24) and BoSEM's Class X exam (which starts from March 16) .
Saying that no one should help students/candidates by any unethical or unfair means, the STF announced 'curfew' around 200 metres of all exam centres.
Both invigilators and students should not take in textbooks, notes, I-pads, mobile phones, cameras and other similar devices which can help students cheat within the campuses of exam centres.
Invigilators should not allow students to copy answers from any source or from one another nor should they (invigilators) help students in answering questions, the STF commander said.
He warned that the OC/AOC/SO of the particular exam centre would be held responsible if any invigilator defies the above mentioned restriction.
No one should pose any hindrance to members of Council/Board/flying squad in discharging their exam duties like pulling up and penalising cheating students.
At the same time, Council/Board/flying squad members should not be lax in discharging their duties, it said.
No one should circulate original question papers or hoax question papers in social media or other media, it continued.
The STF added that they would take up befitting action if any one defies the restrictions/guidelines listed above.
