ASUK imposes 'public curfew' at exam centres

As part of its 'Campaign for National Regeneration (CNR)' aimed at revamping the education sector in Kangleipak (Manipur), the proscribed umbrella organisation, Alliance for Socialist Unity, Kangleipak (ASUK) has announced various measures to check use of unfair means and anti-exam activities during the upcoming board and council examinations.
The measures were taken up for the upcoming class X, XI and XII examinations of BSEM, COHSEM and CBSE, an ASUK statement issued by its CNR's Special Task Force (STF) commander Deepak informed.
The pre-emptive steps of CNR include 'public curfew' within 200 metres of all examination centres and total prohibition on abetting use of unfair means.
No invigilators/students shall bring gadgets/devices which would be aid in using unfair means like books, written notes, 1 pad, mobile phone, camera or others inside the campus of examination centres.
No invigilators shall assist or ignore copying among candidates or indulge in other illegal acts inside the examination centres.
OG/AOC/SO of examination centre will be held responsible when any invigilator is found violating the above three measures, the statement cautioned.
As per the measures announced by STF, members of council/board/flying squad shall initiate punitive actions including expulsion of candidates found using unfair means in the examinations and no one shall interfere in activities of the council/ board/flying squad members in performing their duties.
The STF also said that no one shall upload original and fake question paper on social media or other platform.
Appealing to all concerned to strictly adhere to the measures, STF commander Deepak warned that anyone found violating any of these measures will be dealt with seriously, including initiation of punitive action.
