TNWL commends Ukhrul police, SP

Imphal, September 22 2022: Tangkhul Naga Wungnao Long (TNWL) has praised Ukhrul SP Ningshem Vashum for his initiative to make Ukhrul headquarters an environment conscious district.

TNWL general secretary Kaphaoleng Angkang said in a release that Ukhrul police has stepped in beyond their call of duty and mended the potholes which had been the hallmark of Ukhrul for the past many years.

The police have made a difference in the lives of people especially the pedestrians, who had hard time crossing the town road due to heavy traffic congestion.

When the populace has been reeling under intense road inconveniences the district police stepped in and widened the town road, it said.

The TNWL acknowledged the good work initiated by the district police and saluted the police officer and the district police for going beyond the call of duty to make Ukhrul a clean and eco-friendly district.
