IOCL launches Xtra Green diesel in state

For the first time in the state, Indian Oil Corpora tion Limited (IOCL) launched the new premium diesel of Indian Oil 'Xtra Green' at its outlet M/S K Nilo Singh, Langjing Achouba on Thursday.
The launch programme was attended by Indian Oil Corporation Limited retail sales general manager Raja Muni Tamrakar, general manager (Lubes) Vineet Kaul and retails sales Manipur head KV Nela as presidium members.
Speaking at the programme, RM Tamrakar informed that Indian Oil Corporation Limited has been trying to produce eco-friendly diesel and petrol and expressed elation that it will be making Xtra Green premium diesel available to the customers.
Use of the newly launched diesel not only reduces noise pollution but also decreases release of carbon monoxide by 5.29 per cent, nitrogen oxide by 4.99 per cent and 0.13 kg of carbon dioxide per one litre of diesel.
It not only reduces pollution but also enhances combustion thereby increasing mileage of the vehicle, he explained, while adding that XP95 has also been launched for petrol run vehicles.
