CorCom clarifies

Regarding the news report aired on a local cable news network about intimidation to Poirou Tangkhul village authority to cast vote for the BJP candidate in Keirao A/C, the Coordination Committee (CorCom), a conglomerate of different armed outfits, has clarified that they are not related with the matter in any manner.
In a release, CorCoM publicity committee recalled that the news report aired on February 27 mentioned that three unknown people came to the residence of Poirou Tangkhul Village Authority secretary MB Sylvester under Keirao A/C.the trio threatened the secretary against giving vote to NPP candidate in Keirao AC, and asked him to vote for BJP candidate.
They also claimed that they came under the instruction of CorCom and two live bullets were given to him for village authority chairman and secretary as a threat.
However, the said new report about intimidation is not related with CorCom, it clarified.
