PM Narendra Modi's 'Mann Ki Baat' listened across state

Joining the whole country in celebrating the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Mann Ki Baat, BJP Manipur Pradesh and its mandal units hosted public events to listen and propagate the programme in different parts of the state on Sunday.
BJP Thangmeiband Mandal organised the programme at Khwairamband Keithel for women vendors and general public.
Large LED screen was set up to telecast live the Prime Minister's talk and interact with different people.
BJP Manipur Pradesh president A Sharda and Thangmeiband MLA Kh Joykisan also attended the event.
After the programme, Sharda said that the Mann Ki Baat programme, which began from October 3, 2014, is an apolitical programme for spreading message to the citizens of the country and encourage and inspire them to work towards nation-building and serve the society, which will lead to further development.
With each episode, the pro gramme has been gaining popularity across the globe as the Prime Minister brings up real-life inspiring stories of common people and converses with many during the programme, she said, and also recounted different topics covered by the Prime Minister in his Mann Ki Baat episodes so far.
According to MLA Joykisan, BKP considers Mann Ki Baat as an important programme, which spreads the message of love, hard work, service to the society & nation, and nation-building, which is why the party hosted events at different parts of the state to ensure as many people as possible listen to the programme.
BJP national spokesperson and Manipur in-charge Dr Sambit Patra also advised for hosting maximum number of events for the programme.
He also highlighted the innovative idea of a woman from Manipur threading yam from lotus stem, which was mentioned by the Prime Minister, and added that such encouragement to innovative ideas and efforts from every nook and corner of the country made the programme popular.
Mayang Imphal MLA Kongkham Robindro also hosted a similar event at his Mayang Imphal Thana Awang Leikai residence.
Later, he explained the significance of Mann Ki Baat in bringing unity, development, entrepreneurship and innovation in the country.
BJYM Moreh also organised a programme to listen to Mann Ki Baat (MKB) speech delivered by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the border town on Sunday.
Tribal affairs & hills minister and Tengnoupal MLA Letpao Haokip along with denizens of Moreh listened to Mann Ki Baat.
In Noney district the celebration of 100th episode of Prime Minister Modi's Mann Ki Baat programme was organised by BJP Tamenglong District at Bitiang (Laphok) village, Noney district on Sunday.
The programme was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Maharaja Leishemba Sanajaoba in the presence of Noney DC Joseph Pauline Kamson and other functionaries of BJP Manipur Pradesh.
As a part of the event, PMJAY cards were also distributed to select beneficiaries.
