Lecture on school entry, pre-recruitment training conducted

Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (South) organised a lecture on preparation for Sainik School and Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC) exam for students of Turning Point Coaching Centre at Kontha Ahallup in Imphal East district on Monday.
According to PRO IGAR (S), the aim of the lecture was to create awareness about Sainik School and RIMC entrance exam.
The lecture focused upon the preparation strategy, required study materials and also provided the platform for discussion on Sainik School and RIMC entrance exam to the students, the PRO said in a release, adding that a total of 50 students attended the lecture.
Meanwhile, Sajik Tampak Battalion of IGAR (South) conducted pre-recruitment training for young aspirants, who are willing to join Indian Armed Forces, at Sajik Tampak village in Chandel district on Monday and Tuesday.
The aim of the training was to create awareness among the youth about recruitment process in Armed Forces, said the PRO in another release, while informing that the training was focused on pre-recruitment training for technical and tradesman recruitment rally for Assam Rifles.
The trainees, consisting of 35 male and 10 female candidates were also made aware about the documentation process, exam preparation and physical training, the PRO said.
