Authorities shared no information to the locals about the fresh tunnelling work and compensation for the new tunnel is yet to be given to the affected land owners, he said, adding that the revenue department has no information about the project as well.
He also informed that a memorandum in this regard has been submitted to DC Imphal West and urged government and authorities concerned to discuss the matter.
Lokendra reiterated that intense forms of agitation would be launched in case authorities fail to discuss the matter at the earliest and take necessary steps.
