Kakching, February 06 2022:
The Supporter Youth's Committee 39-Sugnu AC of BJP candidate Mayanglambam Binod organised a BJP Youth's Meet at the candidate's residence at Kakching Khunou Angom Leikai on Sunday.
The meet was attended by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) Manipur president M Barish Sharma, general secretary Mikson Rajkumar, chief spokesperson M Sureshkumar, treasurer Destor, state executive member Johnson, Kakching Khunou Municipal Council caretaker chairperson Khumukcham Leima Devi, ex-councillor Ksh Indubala, Yuva Morcha BJP Sugnu Mandal president Laishram Ojit, Kakching District in-charge and BJP secretary organisation Niranjan and others.
Speaking on the occasion, Barish Sharma opined that it would have been better if the sitting Sugnu AC MLA had utilised the LADF fund on mending the potholes along the road stretch from Wabagai Lamkhai to Sugnu.
Despite being an MLA for a long time, he has failed to provide teachers for the schools and doctors for the hospitals he had inaugurated.
He is an MLA who is like a pillar that is waiting to crumble down.
The youth have the power to remove the incumbent MLA, he said and urged the youth not to waste the opportunity and to elect Mayanglambam Binod as Sugnu's representative.
Barish then said that people no longer have any fear of the security forces under the CM Biren-led people-oriented BJP government.
It is also CM Biren's firm resolve to remove the MLA of Sugnu, the BJYM president said, while adding that a multi-prong strategy is in place to ensure Binod's victory in the upcoming polls.
