Interactive session organised on healers' conclave

44 Assam Rifles of 22 sector/IGAR (East) in collaboration with Medica North Bengal Clinic (MNBC), Siliguri organised an awareness cum interactive session on the third day of Assam Rifles healers' conclave in Tamenglong.
In a release, PRO (DW) informed that MNBC, Siliguri senior dietician Anita Kumari was the resource person of the session coordinated by 44 AR commandant SS Shah, CMO of the unit.
Anita virtually addressed the attendees at Tamenglong and highlighted various aspects related to healthy diet and nutrition.
As a precautionary measure against common diseases and to build strong immunity, she explained on ways to maintain a balanced diet, follow the correct mealtime and be physically active.
At the end of lecture, a healthy interactive session was held with the troops to clarify their doubts.
Extending its "healers' conclave" efforts among the local populace, the Battalion also organised door to door vaccination campaign at Makui village in collaboration with PHC T Waichong of Kangpokpi district health society.
Dr Neipichong Doungel was in-charge of vaccination drive.
The aim of the vaccination drive was to contribute against the fight to eradicate COVID.
The villagers were motivated to adhere to the guidelines of COVID-19 for restricting community spread Of the virus and encouraged to undertake COVID vaccination.
The locals were also sensitised about the myths of vaccination complication which are being circulated in the society through various social media platforms.
