Imphal, April 16 2023: Government bulletin on Sunday reported three fresh cases of Covid-19 out of 19 samples tested registering a positivity rate of 15.8 per cent.

One of the three fresh cases is a 75-year-old male resident of Imphal East and the other two are 75 and 45 years old male residents of Imphal West district.

On the other hand, four patients were discharged in the last 24 hours which brought down the number of active cases to 8.Meanwhile, no vaccine dose was administered on Monday and the number of vaccinated people in the state stands at 16,49,470 .

Of the total number of vaccinated people, 13,31,219 have received the second dose and 2,80,416 taken precautionary doses.

A statement from the Covid-19 common control room has advised the public to use face mask, wash hands regularly, avoid crowd and get vaccinated to stay safe from the contagion.
