"12th edition of Neti", "Prakash Ka Kopilaharu" released

Nepali Sahitya Parishad (NSP), Manipur in collaboration with Leimakhong Gorkha Samaj on Sunday released two books, entitled "12th edition of Neti" and "Prakash ka Kopilaharu" .
According to an NSP press release, "Neti" contains a collection of poetries, short stories and essays written by different Nepali language authors.
Altogether 60 articles are included in the said book.
Neti is and an official magazine published by NSP.
In the meantime, "Prakash ka Kopilaharu", a poetry book of late Prakash Dhungana was published at his Leimakhong P Muolding residence.
Prakash Dhungana passed away at the age of only 20 years.
During the event, writer Suraj Chapagain gave a rave review on "Prakash ka kopilaaharu".
The programme was attended by NSP former president Prof Durga Sharma as chief guest while another former president Lok Bahadur Basnet, and Leimakhong Hill Town vice president and Shyam Dahal were present as guests of honour.
A renowned writer from Assam Krishna Bikram Rana Nepali Sahitya Parishad Manipur president Bhawani Adhikari, Dr Tankanath Khatiwoda, Dr Harikrishna Siwakoti, Hari Prasad Kharel and Purna Mishra also attended the event.
During the eVent, a 'Poet Meet' was also held during which Subash Limbu, Indra Bahadur Ghhetri and Devi Prasad Thapa from Manipur presented their writings, while Narsingh Chhetri and Bal Krishna Chhetri Khuman Sonar from Assam recited their poems.
The programme saw about 250 members representing Manipur Gorkha Welfare Union, All Manipur Gorkha Students' Union, Nepali Sanskriti Surakshya Parishad Manipur, Mani-pureli Kirat Sangh, chairmen and secretaries of all the nine Nepali villages in Leimakhong area, Leimakhong Hill Town Committee, Leimakhong Gorkha Samaj, women's society, Magar Sangh Manipur, incumbent and former executive members as well as advisors of NSP, and a large number of people in attendance.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by NSP vice president Kewali Prasad Bista.
