Free health camp held at Molpibung

A two-day long free health camp with primary focus on mother and child was conducted at K.Savumpha Centre Molpibung by Block Programme Management Unit, Chakpikarong under NRHM Chandel in collaboration with The Good Samaritan Initiatives, an Imphal based Social volunteers from January 13 to 14 .
.KSavumpha Centre Molpibung lies along the zero line, about 60 km from Tengnoupal and falls under PHSC Songjang, Chakpikarong Block.
The said medical camp was conducted keeping in view the basic necessity of the villagers like Sanitation, First Aid, Children's immunization, etc.
A total of 200 people examined on the first day and another 138 patients on the second day.
Villagers of Twidam and Khongkang also turned up to avail the medical camp which was conducted by a medical team comprising 5 doctors (2 female doctors, including an AYUSH), 4 nurses, 2 pharmacist, BPMU and 8 members from the Good Samaritan initiatives.
During the camp, medicines were also provided to the villagers free of cost.
