BJP voluntary meet ahead of Modi's visit

Ahead of the February 8 public rally at Imphal which would be addressed by BJP Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, a voluntary meet cum donation campaign was held today at the party's State unit office.
During the campaign jointly organised by BJP Yuva Morcha and Media (IT) Cell, many volunteers who believe in BJP and Narendra Modi's principle donated money in the donation box named 'Modi for Prime Minister Fund Box' .
Moreover, an interaction programme on what is expected from Narendra Modi as Prime Minister of India and what people of Manipur would like Modi to do for development of the State was also held.
Speaking at the occasion, Prof Gangmumei Kamei hailed the new political movement initiated by Narendra Modi and his efforts to bring some revolutionary changes in the country.
People of India have found a new leader in Narendra Modi, he asserted.
Narendra Modi is a benign leader who is known for his revolutionary mindset.
He can certainly bring about good governance and rapid development across the country if he is elected Prime Minister of India, stated Prof Gangmumei.
Dr RK Ranjan said that Narendra Modi is coming to Imphal for the first time in the entire North East region.
The donation campaign is aimed at enabling BJP secure more than 272 seats in the Lok Sabha under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
He also appealed to all the youth to attend Narendra Modi's Imphal public rally.
BJP treasurer Robin Blackie conveyed gratitude to all the people who donated to Narendra Modi's fund.
