Four more non-SoO KNF men arrested

Barely four days after Delhi Police's Special Cell arrested the self-styled commander-in-chief of Kuki National Front (non-SoO group), security forces managed to arrest four more cadres of the outfit in Kangpokpi district on Friday.
Self-styled C-in-C of the KNF group, Mangkholam alias David Kipgen was arrested on September 20 from Delhi's Dwarka area.
On Friday evening, a combined team of 38 Assam Rifles, intelligence agency and Kangpokpi police led by Addl SP (LO) Thangkhochon Haokip, OC Henminthang Kipgen and SI Seigoulen Sitlhou arrested four cadres belonging to the same group from a jungle near Gopibung village in Champhai sub-division of the district.
The arrested cadres have been identified as Henpilal Haokip alias Be'm alias Ronney (19), s/o Mangkhohao Haokip of P Khothah Part-II, Lalkhohao Kipgen alias Lalneo (24), s/o Satmang Kipgen of West Selsi village, Manggoulal Kipgen (19), s/o Lamminlen Kipgen of West Selsi village and Letminlun Kipgen alias Lulun (19), s/o Henkhosat Kipgen of Bongbal Kholen village.
Two country-made pistols along with one magazine each and four live rounds each of 9mm calibre were recovered from their possession, said a police source.
It also said a preliminary inquiry revealed that Manggoulal Kipgen was involved in looting Rs 4,000 from a truck driver and firing at the tyre of a truck on September 13 at Keithelmanbi Lamkhai with one of the seized 9mm pistols.
