Even though people of Pukhao Shantipur fled their homes for safer plac-es and take refuge in relief camps after the communal riot broke out on May 3, Pukhao Shantipur Youth Club has appealed to the male members to return for protecting the village.
In a release, the Club said women and children may remain shelter in the re-lief camps, but the males of Pukhao Shantipur need to return and join hands in protecting their own village.
Land owners who bought land and are yet to construct their houses were also urged to help the villagers in protecting the village.
