"Masen Marang" - solo art exhibition starts

Imphal, December 26 2018: "Masen Marang" a solo exhibition of Chittaranjan Moirangthem's artworks has started today at Galerie a la Ngayur, Khuman Lampak, Imphal.

The exhibition will continue till December 28 .

Born in April 8, 1987 at Phubala, Chittaranjan completed MFA (Graphics) from IKSVV, Khairagarh, Chattisgarh and BFA (Painting) from College of Visual Art, Kolkata.

He pursued knowledge of sculpture under the guidance of Uma Shirdanta for four years.

He has participated in a number of exhibition including Khajuraho International Art Mart, Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh in 2017, International Mail Art Exhibition at japan, Portugal, United Kingdom, Spain, Norway, Italy in 2016, All India Lokmanya Tilak & Barrister VV Oak Smriti Art Exhibition, Pune, Maharashtra in 2016, 34th, 35th State Kala Akademi Annual Art Exhibition 2010, 2014.He also participated in the Annual Exhibition of Indian Society of Oriental Art, Kolkata, 2012 and West Bengal State Kala Akademi Annual Art Exhibition, Kolkata, 2012.He won Manipur State Kala Akademi Award 2010, Young Artist Camp, 16th National Youth Festival Udaipur 2011, Manipur State Kala Akademi Scholarship, 2010-11 and Manipur State Kala Akademi Junior Fellowship 2018.M Joy Singh, Secretary MAHUD and Rajkumar Sanajaoba, founder Galerie a la Ngayur attended the inaugural of the art exhibition today.
