Water storage tank gifted to villagers

Imphal, December 26 2018:
32 Bn CRPF 2nd in-Command Vinay Kumar has inaugurated and handed over a water storage tank, that can hold 600 litres of water, to the public of Kuki Lamdan Village, Leimatak, Churachandpur.
The water storage tank was built under the "Civic Action Programme" by the 32 Bn CRPF Loktak under the aegis of Manipur and Nagaland Sector CRPF for the convenient of the people of Churachandpur and Bishnupur district.
Leimatak Chief Association secretary, Lunkhomang Haokip, Kuki Lamdan Village chief, Sungkhomang and several officials of CRPF attended the event as the presidium members.
Speaking at the event, 32 Bn CRPF 2nd in-Command Vinay Kumar said that the water tank was constructed by 32 Bn CRPF considering the water shortage faced by the villagers under its Civic Action Programme.
Many more developmental works will be carried out in the future too by the CRPF under the programme, he added.
