PREPAKK celebrates 45th raising day

The proscribed People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK) reportedly celebrated its 45th raising day in coordination with people of both hills and valley of the 'motherland'.
Marking the foundation day celebration, interim council chairman released the outfit's journal entitled 'Kangla Sempung volume 8, issue no.8' and presented the same to the people, a PREPAK statement issued by its publicity officer Mangai Khuman said.
According to the statement, the celebration functions were held in simple manner at CHQ, GHQ, tactical headquarters, 701 and 707 mobile battalions and other base areas with the people.
The celebration at CHQ attended by interim council chairman Aheiba Angom as chief guest, CAS Romi Meitei as president and charge-de-affairs of publicity & propaganda Leibaak Ngaakpa Luwangna as guest of honour began with lighting of ceremonial lamp by the interim council chairman followed by releasing of 'Kangla Sempung volume-8, issue no.8' and presentation of journal to the people.
The statement further said celebration at 701 and 707 mobile battalions were attended by the camp commanders and they hoisted the party's seven-colour flag and read out message of the interim council chairman delivered on the occasion.
Meanwhile, the outfit extended its heartiest gratitude to both national and local media houses for enabling people to hear/read message of interim council chairman delivered on the occasion.
The latest edition of 'Kangla Sempung' published by the outfit's department of publicity and propaganda since 2014 contains several essays and write ups.
The contents include messages (both English and Manipuri) of interim council chairman delivered on the occasion of 45th raising day celebration, 42nd raising day of outfit's armed wing - Red Army and editorial.
The latest edition also has essays like 'Lammuknaraba Lambi' written by Changk-honba Khuman, 'Ningthou Luhongkhraba Tungda Kangleipak' by Khamba Khuman, 'Kangleipak Ki Yawol Eehouda Mityeng Ama' by Kanglei Panasana, 'Chinjak Ta Potyan Touba' by Sanakhomba Mangang, 'Family Planning Aronba Masak' by Taibangnganba Mangang, 'Yelhoumee Mut-khinaba Hotnarakpa' by Mangai Khuman and 'Hypertension is a Silent Killer' written by Nongthangnganba Khumancha.
