SNMP feed supply office opened

Chairman of MANIDCO and MLA of Mayang Imphal Constituency Kongkham Robindro has stated that in the midst of the Government's attempts to bring about transformations in the State, the people themselves are acutely engaged in improving and making progress in their lives.
The statement was made by MLA Kongkham Robindro during the grand opening ceremony of Samvardhinee Nyas, Manipur Prant's (SNMP) fish feed supply office at Keishamthong Ahanthem Leikai today.
Speaking on the occasion, Kongkham Robindro stated that the State Department of Fisheries spends around Rs 400 crore every year in importing fish and the Government is undertaking several projects to bring down this expenditure.

He said that at this juncture, many fish farmers have poured their efforts to increase fish production in the State and thus, he lauded their spirit.
N Maya, leader, SNMP feed supply also spoke on the occasion and shared that a toll-free number has also been launched at the feed supply office to address people's concerns regarding the problems faced in fish or poultry farming, how to deal with diseases affecting fishes and chickens and the medicines necessary for treatment.
The toll-free number will be online from 10 am to 5 pm.
In order to eliminate any future problems arising out of shortage in fish feed imported into the State, a godown has been set up at Mantripukhri to store stockpiles of fish feed, N Maya added.
The SNMP feed leader further urged farmers to avail the opportunities provided at SNMP feed supply office.
Dignitaries present at the grand opening ceremony include Oinam Indira, State Co-Convenor, SNMP, International and National Awardee; renowned singer Ranbir Thouna among others.
