KAMJONG: The District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit for Kamjong district was held at the Town Hall, Kamjong district headquarters on Friday.
The fourth edition of the programme organised by Kamjong district administration witnessed hundreds of public attendance and total of 54 grievances/applications related to various government welfare schemes and departmental services received through 34 stalls of various departments.
DC Rangnamei Rang Peter was the chief guest of the event, while SP P Manjit, ADM Ningreigam Leisang and SDO Sahampung block Phillip John were present as guests of honour.
CSO leaders, village chiefs and local prabhari officers also attended the event.
CMHA, weavers and PM Kisan cards, Ujjwala LPG connections and NFSA cards were distributed to several beneficiaries.
A special tree plantation programme was also conducted as a part of the event by DFO Kamjong.
KANGPOKPI: Kangpokpi district administration organised Hill Leaders' day with participation of around 40 line departments at Hoikhonei multi-purpose hall, Thangkanphai village, Saikul sub-division in Kangpokpi district on Friday.
DC Kengoo Zuringla along with officials of SDO Saikul led by SDO Bungba Maibam Khuman oversaw the conduct of the event.
Apart from Covid-19 vaccination session, delivery of other normal health services was also ensured to the general public.
Various government departments delivered and distributed services and benefits of various schemes to the public.
Food items made from forest produces were put up for display while water pumps, saplings, cards of various schemes were distributed during the event.
PHERZAWL: Pherzawl district administration on Friday organised 4th District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit at the Office Complex of the Deputy Commissioner.
SP A Ghaneshyam Sharma, additional SP Lunzamung Tungnung, Tipaimukh & Van-gai SDO/BDOI Dinesh Kumar Singh and other DLOs led by ADC Pherzawl (Programme Coordinator) Ch Sachi interacted with the people to address their grievances.
The SP and ADC also distributed textbooks, Disability Guide SIB kits and School Uniforms along with agriculture equipment & seeds.
Public welfare services including awareness through PPT presentation on Non Timber Forest Products' & sale of VDVK products by Forest department, awareness campaign on domestic violence by One Stop Centre, Aadhaar-Voter seeding, Domicile/Tribe/Income certificates by the SDO and distribution of police recruitment forms by Police Department were some of the highlight of the event.
Besides, the CMO team also conducted Covid vaccinations on the spot.
A total of 16 stalls of different departments were opened to meet the demands of the public.
Meanwhile, prize was distributed by the ADC Pherzawl to Kamthenjoy Singson (12) Class VIII of Leijangphai High School for bagging 4th Position in the State Level Best Gifted Child 2021-22 with an IQ Score of 136.Mention may be made that District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit are held every 4th Friday for Pherzawl district and on Thursday in case the 4th Friday happens to be a general holiday.
NONEY: District Hill Leaders' Day & Meeyamgi Numit was organised by Noney district administration at Multipurpose Hall, Longmai Part-3, Noney.
The programme was attended deputy commissioner Joseph Pauline Kamson, ADM Noney Stiff Khapudang, additional SP Peter Namsadai Pamei and Villages Council Longmai Area (VCLA) chairman D Adai.
Altogether, 21 stalls of various departments were opened and benefits made available to the public.
During the programme, 15 Manipur Old Age Pension Scheme Smart Cards and 12 Chief Minister's Widow Pension Scheme (Smart Cards) were distributed to the beneficiaries by the District Social Welfare Office, Noney.
The ZEO office distributed Sports materials and books for schools and hearing aids, Mentally Retarded kits (MR) were also distributed for the disable students.
Winter crops/cereals and farm equipment were also distributed by the District Horticulture Office.
Public grievances like lack of doctor and medical staff, electricity problems and other issues was also discussed with deputy commissioner and village authority leaders and CSO leaders.
The programme was attended by district level officers and general public.
KAKCHING: District administration of Kakching organised Meeyamgee Numit at the DC's office complex during which 28 departments opened their stalls for delivering public services and addressing public grievances.
Health check-up counters were set up by health department and certificates for birth, death and income distributed by officials of Langmeidong CD Block and SDOs.
As many as 31 applications for MOAPS and 11 CMUPS were received from the public while six applications related with land conversion were addressed on the spot.
Unlike other months, public turnout was comparatively low this time.
The event was attended by DLOs of different departments in Kakching district.
