Joined JD (U) to serve people of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC : K Manoranjan

JD(U) candidate in Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC Konthoujam Manoranjan has said that he had joined JD (U) to serve the people of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC and rejected a post of chairman in Ministry of Corporation (in par with MoS) .
K Manoranjan made the statement at a press conference held at his residence in Kwakeithel Konjeng Leikai today and added that he had served as state president of Apna Dal (Sonelal) which is an alliance of BJP in the centre and had even planned to field candidates in 20 to 30 Assembly Constituencies in the upcoming 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly election.
His work to strengthen the party in the State within a short span of time was lauded by national president Anupriya Patel.
However an understanding was reached between Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Minister Anupriya Patel for the Manipur Unit of Apna Dal (Sonelal) not to field any candidates and support BJP as BJP and Apana Dal is already sharing seats in UP.
The agreement was communicated to him and was offered a post in the rank of a MoS in the Ministry of Corporation but he rejected the offer and chose to contest the election from JD (U) in order to serve the people of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC, he added.
He added that he will work for the betterment, overall development and for the welfare of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa and its people.
JD (U) will be contesting the upcoming election in 36 Assembly Constituencies and is set to win around 20 seats.
The next Government will be an alliance between JD (U) and BJP.
He also expressed confidence that he might get a ministerial berth in the next cabinet.
K Manoranjan added he will do everything possible to protect the territorial boundary of Manipur and also promised to take up various irrigation and agriculture related projects to double the agricultural produce of farmers of Naoriya Pakhanglakpa AC and ensure that agro-based industries is developed in the constituency to provide a livelihood for the people.
