Imphal, June 06 2015 :
The NSCN (K) which led a joint ambush that killed at least 18 soldiers of 6 Dogra Regiment in the Moltuk area in Chandel district of Manipur on Thursday has threatened more attacks "against India" .
This was stated in a press release issued by the outfit's Ministry of Information and Publicty (MIP) on Saturday.
The statement said that the ambush was carried out by the Naga Army Elite Strike Unit with the Special Task Forces of the proscribed Kanglei Yawol Kunna Lup (KYKL) and the Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP).
This offensive is a signal to the Government of India that the Nagas are "capable of striking anywhere any time without territorial considerations" .
"The Nagas and the NSCN (K) shall continue to defy the arbitrarily imposed boundary by India and Myanmar without the consent of the Nagas.
It will go to any extent to secure and reclaim the Pan Naga Nationhood.
The suppressed ethnic races of West South East Asia (NE region) shall, at any given opportunity, continue to strike against India keeping in mind the common political and historical legacy and attachments of the region," said the statement issued by NSCN (K) MIP.
Meanwhile, the combined counter insurgency operations near the site of the Thursday's ambush have so far drawn a blank.
