Disqualification cases of two MLAs Tribunal fixes next date on June 20

After perusing four different dis-qualification cases filed against two MLAs, the Manipur Legislative Assembly Spea-ker's Tribunal has fixed the next hearing on June 20 .
The cases which the Tribunal took up today were case no 7 (MLA Th Shyam-kumar versus MLA K Sarat), case no 14 (K Saratchandra versus MLA Karam Shyam), case no 15 (N Momon versus MLA Karam Shyam) and case no 16 (Kh Vimal versus MLA Karam Shyam) .
After listening to the arguments and counter arguments made by counsels of the petitioners and the respondents, the Tribunal gave two weeks time to both the parties and fixed the next hearing on June 20 .
The Court also directed all concerned parties to submit necessary documents by June 19 .
MLAs Th Shyamkumar, K Sarat and Karam Shyam who are listed as petitioners/respondents in the four disqualification cases represent Andro, Konthoujam and Langthabal Assembly segments respectively.
While Shyamkumar and K Sarat were elected to Manipur Legislative Assembly on All India Trinamool Congress tickets, Shyam was elected on Lok Janashakti Party ticket.
The same Tribunal disqualified MLAs Kh Joy- kishan of Thangmeiband A/C, Th Bishwajit of Thongju A/C and O Lukhoi of Wangoi A/C a few days back.
Incidentally, all three of them were elected on AITC tickets.
Subsequently, Thongju A/C, Wangoi A/C and Thangmeiband A/C were declared vacant.
After their disqualification, they joined BJP and started preparations for by-election.
