IOCL launches 10kg LPG cylinder

Imphal, January 29 2022:
State Level Coordinator (SLC) of Manipur, RK Mohen Singh launched the lightweight composite 10 kg LPG cylinder in Manipur at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd's Imphal Divisional Office today.
According to a press release, the composite 10 kg cylinders were handed over to the customers of M/S RBD Indane Service, MS MM Gas, MS Misao Gas and MS Canchi Indane in the presence of the three LPG Field Officers of Manipur.
RK Mohen Singh briefed the customers about the various benefits and safety aspects of this lightweight composite LPG cylinder such as the weight of the composite cylinder being almost half that of the steel cylinders and its translucent body that enables customers to accurately check the LPG liquid level, the statement added.

Further, the composite cylinder is also rust-free, requires lower maintenance and has a fresh and visually appealing design, he informed.
The SLC further provided the price break-ups for availing new connections as follows: security deposit-Rs 3350, refill for 10 kg LPG-Rs 740.50, regulator-Rs 100, LPG hose pipe-Rs 190, administrative charges-Rs 118, installation charges-Rs 118, DGCC (blue book) charge-Rs 59.It may be noted that all these charges are exclusive of GST.
The press release further informed that the composite cylinder is marketed under Domestic Non-Subsidized category and will be initially marketed in the Imphal area but the product will be made available in other districts in due course of time.
