Student unions urge

Stating that students who are seeking admission in the Manipur University in different MA and MSc courses are worried about their academic year as the last date of form submission is July 27, DM College of Arts Students' Union and DM College of Commerce Students' Union have urged the Government to open educational institutes at the earliest so that students may take out required documents from their respective colleges for further studies.
In separate statements, the two unions also expressed concern over not taking any action against the police personnel responsible for the death of Sapam Robinhood till date.
The unions also urged the concerned to pass a new ILP Bill at the earliest and bring an end to the current unrest.
On the other hand, Manipur College Students' Union, Ghanapriya Women's College Students' Union, Modern College Students' Union have stated that prolonged closure of educational institutes is tantamount to violation of right to education.
In separate press statements, these unions also strongly condemned police action that killed Sapam Robinhood.
The unions also urged the Government to resolve the issue by implementing ILPS in the State at the earliest.
