Bodies continue to support ILP

Vowing to stick on their decision until the implementation of ILP in Manipur and punishment of police personnel who killed Sapam Robinhood, Joint Students' Union of Govt.Higher Secondary School (JSUGHSS) said that they are against the decision of All Manipur Recognised Private Schools'Welfare Association (AMRPSWA) who declared to reopen all private schools from July 23.Urging the AMRPSWA to reconsider their decision the Students' Union also warned to take sole responsibility of any unwanted incidents if schools are found to be opened.
Condemning the inhuman killing of Sapam Robinhood, DM College of Arts Students' Union has demanded the Govt.to reopen all educational institutes which have been closed since July 8 last.
The decision to close all educational institutes has spoiled the academic career of many students, the Union said.
Urging the Govt.to immediately pass a bill which would protect indigenous community of the state, the Students' Union also demanded to release the members of students' wing who had been arrested by police.
DM College of Commerce Students' Union also strongly condemned the Govt.'s decision to shut down all schools and colleges in the state while demanding to reopen immediately since it will spoil the career of many students.
While demanding punishment of police personnel who killed Robinhood the Union has also demanded to release the students' wing members without any condition.
Meanwhile, Modern College of Students' Union, Ghanapriya Women's College Students' Union, Manipur College Students' Union, Manipur University Students' Union, Council of Teachers' Association have condemned the Manipur Govt.for violating students' rights by closing all educational institutes to suppress the ongoing mass movement on inner line permit system.
Urging the govt.to reopen schools and colleges immediately the Unions demanded implementation of ILP in the state and punishment of police personnel who had killed Sapam Robinhood.
United Mongoloid has demanded the immediate implementation of ILP in Manipur so that indigenous communities of Manipur could be safeguarded.
Rural United Clubs' Organisation also condemned the killing of Robinhood while vowing to extend all necessary support in the ongoing movement until the implementation of ILP in Manipur.
Khwai Lamphel Women's United Development Organisation also condoled the death of Robinhood and demanded the govt.to immediately implement ILP system in the state.
Salai Apunba Nupi Lamjing Lup also vowed to continue their support to JAC and JCILPS until people's demands are met.
While demanding a judicial enquiry into the killing of Robinhood,Communist Party of India, Manipur State Council has demanded to uplift the indefinite curfew and reopen all educational institutes at earliest.
