Imphal, July 21 2015 :
Joint Students' Union of Government Higher Secondary School (JSUGHSS) has said that the union will not suspend its class boycott stir until a Bill for the protection of indigenous people is passed and action against the police personnel responsible for the death of Sapam Robinhood is taken.
In a statement, the union requested the All Manipur Government Recognised Private Schools' Welfare Association not to press JSUGHSS to suspend the ongoing stir.
Urging the private schools to join the pro-ILPS movement, the union observed that it is the responsibility for every citizen of the State to spare time for the present movement.
It further warned that authority of the concerned school must be held responsible for any eventuality if they commence classes against the union's appeal.
The union also appealed to the meira paibi bodies, local clubs and student organisations to carry on the present agitation until ILPS is implemented in the State.
