Justice is still pending for the July 23, 2009 incident that cost life of a pregnant woman Rabina and a youth Sanjit.
When Hueiyen Lanpao interacted with Chinglensana husband of Rabina at his residence located in Lamdeng Khunou, it is learnt that the hearing at the Cheirap Court is still going on.
However, Chinglensana is very uncertain if the case will be solved and justice delivered in time.
He also said that the court hearing takes place once in a while and a Government lawyer is appearing on behalf of the victim's family.
Chinglensana is living with his mother and son, his father died as a result of stroke the same year when Rabina was killed.

Rabina's son Russel is now studying in class two and staying in a boarding home of Standard English School Porompat.
Seven years old Russel loves to paint and often tells his grandmother Thokchom Memi (56) that he wishes to learn martial art.
Memi also said that she is worried about his son and grandson Russel.
She also wants that the Government fulfil its promise of providing a Government job to her son as part of the compensation.
Chinglensana further said that the former works minister K Ranjit came and told the family that a Government job will be given as compensation and the Chief Minister Okram Ibobi had given his consent.
However, things are not working out.
Chinglensana is into buying and selling business for electronic items to eke out a living.
He also said that he was cleared in the physical tests for constable conscription and had appeared in written examination but the results are not out as yet.
He had also approached the government for the job assurance.
He also said that at times he felt very angry and saddened by the death of his wife whom he met in his high school life and fell in love.
He also said that Manipur is dominated by police force and narrated a sad incident when he was told by the visiting police who came to drop documents that his wife was a suspected militant.
He shared his opinion that had it not been the newspaper that had brought out the truth, his wife could have been framed as a militant.
Meanwhile, the JAC formed against the killing of Rabina is not dissolved so far.
Salam Mary and Nongleima Sinam, convenor and co convenor of the JAC said that they will continue to fight for justice.
They also said that on July 23, 2015 the JAC and Apunba Lup will observe the death anniversary at Lamyanba Shanglen, Palace compound.
Wanted justice, not compensation: Sanjit's mother

Chungkham Taratombi, mother of late Sanjit who was killed by police in board daylight at Khwairamband Keithel on July 23, 2009 in an interaction with Hueiyen Lanpao said that justice is not delivered even after seven years since the incident.
She wants the police personnel involved in the fake encounter to be punished.
Recalling the tragic incident, Taratombi said that till now she could not bear listening to any sound resembling gunshots as it haunts her mind with the unforgettable incident.
Taratombi expressed the desire to witness the hanging of the police personnel involved in the killing of her son.
She said that even if the CBI had taken up the case, so far she could not sense any progress and that the last time she was invited for a hearing was two years back.
Narrating her psychological and traumatic experience over the loss of her son in an unjustified and inhuman manner, Taratombi said that she could never imagine how her son would have suffered in the hands of the police.
She also said that the Government was yet to hand over the compensation so far and asserted that she wanted justice for her son instead of compensation.
