Poll 2022: Flag hoisting ceremony held all over

The National People's Party candidate in 27-Moirang AC, Thongam Shanti has expressed his confidence that the people of Moirang AC will be a trendsetter for all the constituencies of the state.
Addressing a massive gathering during his flag hoisting ceremony at Moirang Chenggei Lampak today, Th Shanti stated that the people of Moirang AC desire change and their aspiration cannot be subdued by guns or any other power.
Stating that he would stand true to the trust and faith of the people of Moirang AC and NPP, Th Shanti announced that he would work for the welfare of the people and focus on various issues including health, education and agriculture among others.
The public meeting was organised by NPP Moirang Block.

Earlier before the public meeting, a flag hoisting ceremony of Thongam Shanti was held at his residence in Moirang Kiyam Leikai.
Similarly, flag hoisting ceremony of Birla Haobijam, Indian National Congress candidate for Thanga AC was also held at his residence in Thangalawai.
It was attended by MPCC vice president and ex-MLA of Thanga AC, T Mangibabu, members of Thanga Block Congress Committee and supporters of the congress party.
KAKCHING
E Dwijamani, ex-MLA and JDU candidate in Hiyanglam AC has announced that he would contest the ensuing Assembly election with the objective to protect the integrity of Manipur and bring change in Hiyanglam AC. E Dwijamani made the statement during a flag hoisting ceremony held at his residence in Hiyanglam.
JDU national general secretary, Afaque Ahamed Khan and leaders of JDU Manipur State attended the ceremony.
Likewise, the flag hoisting ceremony of INC candidate for Hiyanglam AC, Dr Huidrom Jiten was held at his residence in Langmeidong.
As part of the ceremony, a public meeting was also conducted at Langmeidong Bazar public ground attended by former Chief Minister, Okram Ibobi; ex-Minister, K Ranjit; MLA Fajur Rahim; INC candidate in Kakching AC, Ksh Kennedy and members of MPCC and DCC Kakching.

Flag hoisting ceremony cum prayer service of Dinganglung (Dipu) Gangmei, IAS, retired and BJP candidate for 54-Nungba (ST) AC was held at Lamdangmei Public Ground.
The ceremony organised by 54/25 Lamdangmei Polling Booth was attended by former Minister, Jangamlung Panmei; Dr Adim Pamei, ex-BJP candidate of 54-Nungba AC; Dimthaochung Pamei, former president 54-Nungba Block Congress Committee; Sebastian Kamei, ex-candidate of 54-Nungba AC; M Daniel, BJP Tamenglong district president; Makuphun Rongmei, president BJP Nungba Mandal and senior leaders of BJP.
Speaking on the occasion, Dipu Gangmei stated that he respects Gaikhangam as his elder brother from the same village but in politics everyone has the right to contest elections and serve the people of Nungba AC.

Flag hoisting ceremony of Janata Dal United (JDU) candidate Thokchom Jadumani was held on Wednesday at his residence in Khangabok Khullakpam Leikai.
Later a public meeting was also held at Lamdaibung ground in Khangabok Part-III attended by JDU National general secretary, Afaque Ahamed Khan; JDU NE regional coordinator, Danis Ngullie; Khangabok Zilla Parishad member, Kh Rajmohon; Khangabok Part-II Gram Panchayat pradhan, S Opendro; Part-III Gram Panchayat pradhan, Moirangthem Manglemjao; and prominent members of JDU Manipur State, Thoubal District and JDU Khangabok.
As part of the ceremony, Afaque Ahamed Khan also released the manifesto of JDU for the ensuing Assembly Election 2022 .
Afaque Ahmed Khan also claimed that JDU will play a big role in the new Government that will come after the ensuing Assembly election. Stating that JDU is on the rise in the country and the North East region in particular, he announced that the party has been a part of the Government in Nagaland and will be a part of the Government in Manipur after the forthcoming Assembly election.
