Daily TPR hits all time low of 0.7 pc

Imphal, March 16 2022:
The daily positivity rate hit an all time low of 0.7 percent as 7 persons returned positive results out of 948 people tested in the last 24 hours.
No deaths were reported in the last 24 hours either and out of the 16 districts in the State, 12 districts did not report any positive case in the last 24 hours.
Bishnupur, Chandel, Churachandpur, Jiribam, Kakching, Kamjong, Kangpokpi, Noney, Pherzawl, Tamenglong, Tengnoupal and Ukhrul did not report any new case in the last 24 hours.
The positive cases are from Imphal East (4), Imphal West (1), Thoubal (1) and Senapati (1) .
With this the cumulative number of positive cases is now 1,37,028 .
As no deaths were reported in the lasty 24 hours the total number of people claimed by the virus is still 2118 .
On the other hand, 7 persons were discharged in the last 24 hours from home isolation (3), RIMS (1) and CCCs (3) .
The recovery rate now stands at 98.37 percent.
On March 15 a total of 3359 Covid doses were administered taking the cumulative number of doses administered to 27,59,416 including 11,70,963 second dose and 63,950 precautionary dose.
A total of 283 D Type Oxygen cylinders and 91 B Type Oxygen cylinders were made available to different health centres across the State in the last 24 hours.
