Civic Action Programme continues

As part of the Civic Action Programme, 29 Battalion Border Security Force, Koirengei under the aegis of Headquarters BSF CI (Ops) Manipur provided sports items to Carmel Jyoti Orphanage Home.
Sports items including volleyball, volley net, badminton racket, shuttlecock and skipping ropes were handed over to Sister Marin Tom, superintendent Carmel Jyoti Orphanage Home in the presence of Mahender Singh Rapswal, DC/QM 29 Bn BSF; SM Devender Sharma; Inspr (G) Kamal Singh and troops of 29 Bn BSF, said a release issued by 29 Bn BSF.
During the event, Mahender Singh on behalf of Sonam Chhering, Commandant 29 Bn BSF expressed his joy in getting the opportunity to help the needy and assured that the battalion would continue to serve the people in the future.

The superintendent and members of Carmel Jyoti Orphanage Home expressed their gratitude to the BSF for its initiative.
Moreover, as part of the Civic Action Programme, 143 Bn CRPF has constructed 2 public toilets with RCC septic tanks at Women Football ground Kryphsa, Lamphelpat.
The inaugural ceremony was attended by Lamkhokam Lhoujem, Commandant-143 Bn CRPF; S Nabachandra Singh, president Kryphsa; Th Hemachandra Singh, general secretary Kryphsa; L Chaoba Devi, AFC 'A' Licensee and national coach & head coach of Kryphsa; K Sonny Singh, Second-in-Command and M Santosh Singh, Dy Commandant of 143 Bn CRPF among others, said a release issued by 143 Bn CRPF.
