Miss India contestants soak in beauty of Loktak

Imphal, April 10 2023: The contestants of the Femina Miss India 2023 were treated to a mesmerizing view of the Loktak Lake today as some of them held a photo ops at the lake and followed it up with a visit to the INA campus later.

As one batch of the State winners basked in the natural beauty of Loktak Lake, the other batch of contestants paid a visit to one of Imphal's' premier all-girls schools - Little Flower School, a statement said.

The girls were received with great fanfare and were introduced and welcomed with a heartwarming speech from one of the teachers, which was followed by a welcome song by the school choir.

The contestants were also treated to an amazing traditional dance performance by the students, followed by inspiring speeches of encouragement and motivation from Femina Miss India Karnataka 2023 Megan Edward, Femina Miss India Rajasthan 2023 Nandini Gupta, and Femina Miss India Manipur 2023 Thounaojam Strela Luwang.

After the welcome ceremony, the State winners held an interactive session with the Class X students of the school and answered various questions posed by them.

Their responses were well received and appreciated by the students and teachers alike.

The contestants then visited some of the classrooms to say their goodbye.

The day ended with a few of them visiting Ima Market to experience the State's culture and its vision of empo- wering the women of Manipur.

The grand finale of Femina Miss India 2023 will be held on April 15 at Khuman Lampak Indoor Stadium.
