KCC, UCC, YUCC post wins in MNCA Super plate Tournament

KCC, UCC and YUCC registered contrasting wins in the MNCA Superplate Tournament on Tuesday.
YUCC thumped KASC by 85 runs at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.
Batting first, YUCC struggled to produce significant runs, being limited to 164 for 6 in 30 overs.
After the dismissals of Bidyashwor (33), Lenin (26), and Sanjit (20), Kadamjit contributed an undefeated 34 to their innings.
Despite their under par batting display, YUCC successfully defended their total thanks to a well-organised bowling assault.
They bundled out KASC for 79 in 23 overs.
Devraj and Somoraj equally shared 6 wickets between them as Sanjit and Kadamjit took 2 wickets each in their victory.
Earlier, Javed claimed 3 wickets, Farijuddin picked up 2 wickets and Qurshid bagged 1 wicket for KASC.
At Oriental College Ground, KCC beat MPSC by 45 runs.
Asked to bat, KCC scored 165 for 5 in 28 overs as M Ro-hen top-scored for his team with 60, followed by W Kisan (29 not out), N Dijaraj (18), K Mranojit (17), Th Momocha (16 not out) and N Arbin (14).In response, MPSC came out short in their chase after being bowled out in 26.3 overs for 120.P Bonem (21), Ng Sudesh (20), S Shangkar (19) and S Kingson (15) were the run-getters in double digits in MPSC's futile run chase.
For KCC, Y Sheiteendra was the pick of the bowlers with a 4-wicket haul as T Tomba, W Somorjit, K Basantakumar and N Singthoi took one each in their win.
Earlier, S Shangkar and Th Gelson took 2 wickets each for MPSC.
UCC, meanwhile, defeated WYC by 4 runs at Cherapur.
Nelson smashed an unbeaten 66 off 50 balls to help UCC reach 129/3 in 16 overs.
Amarjit (24), Anson (17) and Bishworjit (15) also contributed to their total.
In their run chase, WYC put in a spirited fight but fell short of 4 runs in 16 overs.
They lost 5 wickets in the chase.
In UCC's truimph, Gulson took 2 wickets while Diamond, Bishworjit and Bicky each grabbed one.
