MU Inter-College Sports Tournaments from October 20

Imphal, October 09 2023: The Manipur University Sports Committee has announced the schedule, hosts colleges and venues of various sports disciplines of the Manipur University Inter-College Tournaments 2023-24 .

As per a statement issued by the Assistant Director of Sports, MU, the annual event begins with men's football hosted by N Birahari College from October 20 while the women's football will be hosted by Ng Mani College from October 24 .

W Mani Girls' College will then host Chess tournaments for men and women from October 25 (preponed from October 26).NIELIT in the meantime will hosts Yoga competitions for both men and women on October 26 .

Biramangol College, in the meantime, will host men's and women's handball tournaments from October 28 before Regional College hosts Softball tournaments from October 30 .

Manipur University will host Badminton for men and women from November 2 before Regional College hosts Archery tournaments from the next day.

Table Tennis will be hosted by JCRE Global College from November 5 while Volleyball tournaments will be held from November 7 at KP College.

TS Paul MW College will host Basketball (men and women) tournaments from November 9 before Kabaddi begins at SK Women's College from November 11 .

Thoubal College will then host both weightlifting and powerlifting tournaments (men and women) from November 11 .

Judo (men and women) and Shooting (men and women) will begin on November 17 with Pravabati College and Shri Shri GG College hosting the events respectively.

Wrestling tournaments (men and women) will be hosted by YK College on October 19 before Thoubal College hosts the best physique competition for men on November 21 .

Pravabati College and TS Paul MW College will respectively host Mukna for men and Thang-Ta for men and women on February 6 and 8 next year.

Waikhom Mani Girls' College informs

Host of the MU Inter College Chess Tournament, Waikhom Manipur Girls' College-Thoubal has informed all concerned that the last date of submission of entry is 1 pm of October 24 .

The managers' meeting and draw of the fixture will be held at 1.30 pm on October 24 at Department of Sports, Manipur University, said organising secretary in a statement.

N Birahari College-Khundrakpam notifies

N Birahari College-Khundrakpam which is hosting the "A Pratap Singh Memorial MU Inter College Men's Football Tournament 2023-24" from October 20 has said that the last date of submission of entry is 1 pm of October 18 before the manager's meeting and draw of fixture commences at 1.30 pm at Department of Sports, Manipur University.

Ng Mani College-Khurai Chairenthong informs

The host of "A Borchand Singh Memorial MU Inter College Women's Football Tournament 2023-24, Ng Mani College-Khurai Chairenthong has informed that the last date of entry submission is 1 pm of October 22 .

The manager's meeting and draw of the fixture is scheduled to be held at 1.30 pm at the Department of Sports, Manipur University, said organising secretary of the tournament in a notification.
