Nupi Marup discusses Reservation Bill

Imphal, November 01 2023: All Manipur Nupi Marup on Tuesday conducted its annual general body meeting at Irawat Bhavan, here, during which the Women's Reservation Bill 2023, passed recently in the Parliament was deliberated.

During the meeting, the efforts of All Manipur Nupi Marup and its national organisation namely National Federation of Indian Women in pressing the Parliament to pass the Bill were highlighted.

The meeting, however, regretted the clause citing implementation of the Bill after conducting delimitation and also not before 2024 election.
