COCOMI wing condemns assault on KSA president

Denouncing the assault on student body KSA president Sukham Bidyananda by a team of police escort, COCOMI women wing demanded the government to take action against the involved police personnel.
Speaking to media persons at UCM office located at Lamphelpat on Saturday, COCOMI women wing assistant co-ordinator Rk Tharaksana recalled that the incident occurred in Loklaobung area on September 27 around 8.20 pm after KSA president Sukham Bidyananda attended a press conference organised by six student bodies.
The police assaulted him despite identifying himself as a student activist, she said and demanded appropriate action against the police personnel involved to prove that there is rule of law in the state.
