Two photographs of the two students, before and their deaths in captivity of the armed Kuki men surfaced on September 25 .
The Central Bureau of Investigation is probing the murder of the two students.
Amudon Akham Leikai Apunba Lup organised a sit-in protest at Sagolband against the heinous crime.
The protesters urged the Government and authorities concerned to arrest and punish all culprits involved.
While condemning the brutal murder of the two innocent students, the Zeliangrong United Committee Manipur said the Centre and the State Government must take the case seriously.
The brutal murder of the two students should be condemned by all communities including the Kuki and the Naga, said ZUC Manipur president Meibon Phaomei.
Like in the cases related to the killing of SDO Kishan, Rajen and Token, the Centra and authorities concerned should issue strong warning to the Kuki SoO militants and give them a deadline to produce all perpetrators involved in the murder of the two students, Meibon Phaomei said.
Meanwhile, the security forces have used excessive force against students protesting the brutal murder of Linthoingambi and Hemanjit.
The brutal crackdowns on protesters have injured many students seriously.
If the security forces had acted responsibly, the students must not have been injured, Meibon Phaomei added.
Several organisations and committees including Peace and Reconciliation Coordinating Committee (PRCOC), Committee on Human Rights (COHR), Indigenous Development Mission, Indigenous People's Forum Manipur (IPFM) and Centre for Research and Advocacy Manipur too have vehemently condemned the murder of the two students.
