Imphal, September 30 2023:
On the eve of its 2st Raising Day, which is to be celebrated on October 1, the armed Socialist Revolutionary Party (SOREPA) Kangleipak has conveyed revolutionary greetings to the people of Kangleipak/Ma-nipur and offered revolutionary salute to all those who sacrificed their lives during the course of liberation movement to restore Kangleipak's sovereignty.
The outfit also extended revolutionary honour to all the revolutionary groups of Kan-gleipak/Manipur and WESEA region fighting for restoring sovereignty by launching armed movement.
SOREPA also extended its highest honour to all those killed in the violence which has been going on since May 3 and shared the pain and suffering of people taking shelter in relief camps till date.
Strongly condemning the brutal killing of students Phijam Hemanjit and Hijam Linthoingambi, SOREPA said that the brutal killing of innocent students showcased that the groups trying to break apart Kangleipak/Manipur are terrorists and are threatening people with their terror acts to achieve their goal.
The open support rendered by Indian security forces to the particular community trying to break apart Manipur with destructive attacks on Kanglei/Manipuri people makes it clearer that their act was state-sponsored terrorism.
The attempt being made by India to break apart Kangleipak/Manipur by forming a group of narco-terrorists and drug cartel through state-terrorism should be condemned by global community and take diplomatic and political action against India at the UN level, SOREPA said in a statement.
