Imphal, September 30 2023:
Representatives of the Youths of Manipur (YoM) held another round of meeting with MLAs of the State at Manipur Bhavan, Delhi this afternoon but the meeting could not arrive at any decision.
Meanwhile, it is reported two members of YoM have been infected by Dengue at Delhi.
Except for Chief Minister N Biren and Kshetrigao AC MLA Sheikh Norool Hassan, all the MLAs of the valley districts including former Chief Minister Okram Ibobi attended the meeting which started from 4.20 pm and went on till 8.30 pm.
After the meeting, the YoM representatives decried that the State legislators have not been working sincerely to bring peace in Manipur.

There is a difference of opinion among the ruling MLAs and it is severely impeding any effort to restore peace and normalcy in the State, they said.
On the other hand, some MLAs and Cabinet Ministers who attended the meeting said that the meeting could not arrive at any decision as Chief Minister N Biren was not present.
Even as the YoM representatives requested the Cabinet Ministers to connect them with the Chief Minister through telephone, the Cabinet Ministers could not contact N Biren.
The YoM representatives said that the MLAs' Delhi trip has no meaning and their visit to Delhi can never bring any solution to the Manipur crisis.
The Cabinet Ministers and the MLAs asked the YoM representatives to give two-three days' time so that they can go back to Manipur and consult the Chief Minister.
Saying no to the Cabinet Ministers and MLAs, the YoM representatives left Manipur Bhavan.
It appears that both the Centre and the State Government have no intention to resolve the Manipur crisis any time soon, they said.
They decried that the Ministers and MLAs are still unable to hold a meeting with the Prime Minister on the burning issue of Manipur.
It was the third meeting between YoM representatives and MLAs elected from the valley districts.
On the other hand, four members of YoM (two boys and two girls) have been found infected by Dengue.
They have been admitted to RM Hospital.
Notably, the YoM representatives reached Delhi on September 23 .
