KMWO demands removal of forces from schools

Imphal, June 28 2023:
While claiming that stationing of central paramilitary forces in educational institutions is not only creating problems to the student community but also hindering resumption of normal classes, Kangleipak Minority Welfare Organisation (KMWO), Manipur has demanded removal of central forces from the school campuses at the earliest possible.
In a release, KMWO also stressed the need to con struct a boys' hostel in CC Higher Secondary School so that students from remote places have the facility to stay put within or nearest to the school.
On the other-hand, it revealed that during an inspection visit to CC Higher Secondary School was found to be bereft of infrastructural development and school campus often gets flooded at the slightest instance rainfall in addition to the pavements in dire need of repairing.
KMWO also informed that principal L Rita Devi along with teaching and non-teaching staff are making concerted effort to improve the school's stature and produce quality students.
