In view of various attempts being made by different communities to disintegrate the territory of Manipur, the declaration also took three resolutions.
The first resolution urged authorities concerned to bring an amendment in Article 3 of the Constitution of India so that the territory of Manipur as merged with the Uriion of India shall not be affected under any circumstances.
Another resolution urged the Governor of Manipur, security advisor and the Government of Manipur to take up immediate steps to disarm Kuki militants and stop them from attacking Meetei community.
It also urged state authorities to take up immediate action to judiciously deploy Central forces to prevent atrocities of armed Kuki militants and their supporters.
