Imphal, July 04 2023:
As done annually in the name of his father late Khoisnam Koba, who was a member of Manipur Hawker Association, Khoisnam Tokyo donated money to Manipur Hawkers' Association on Tuesday.
A release issued by Manipur Hawkers' Association informed that Tokyo also extended a sum of Rs 2,000 to hawker Ningthoujam Romesh of Ko dompokpi who got injured in the ethnic conflict through the association.
Humanitarian aid in the form of essential commodities and financial assistance to relief camps opened in different parts of the state continued to pour in from different clubs and organisations.
The Brahmapur Holi Dal, Imphal East under the initiative of its president Ph Guneshwar handed over monetary assistance of Rs 35,000 to volunteers of Kakching Khunou relief camp and Rs 20,000 for the 368 inmates of the relief camp at Wangjing Kodompokpi Sport Complex for purchasing materials to make incense sticks and candle.
The Dal had also provided financial assistance to the village volunteers of Wakhong under Khundrakpam assembly constituency on July 2 .

On the other hand, Elite TV provided essential commodities to the relief camp opened at Oinam Government Higher Secondary School in Bishnupur district on the occasion of its 2nd foundation day celebration.
The relief materials including rice, dal, potatoes, edible oil, salt and water was distributed by Elite TV editor Jit Ningomba and producer Lily Laishram along with its staff.
kakching: Relief items were provided by Chothe villagers of-Chandropoto village, Chandel district led by its chief Simther, Chandropoto Village Authority and Chandropoto Baptist Church at relief camps set up at Langmeidong Higher Secondary School and Thongjao in Kakching district on Tuesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Simther informed that the relief items were provided as mark of brotherhood between the communities residing in the state at the time of need.

During distribution of relief materials, forum president Shrimayum Harimohon Sharma appealed to authorities concerned to end the conflict immediately and restore peace and harmony in the state.
