Many continue to provide essential items to relief camps sheltering people affected by the communal riot.
United Clubs' Organisation, Apunba Meira Paibi ward no.9 Keishamthong A/C provided essential items to relief camp set up at Kangchup Chingkhong and Phayeng Ching Khunou, while Takyel Khongban Paona Memorial Club & Library extended monetary aid to relief camp set up at Phayeng.
Make public response to show cause notice: MSA CHRONICLE NEWS SERVICE IMPHAL: Recalling the show cause notice served by 'Committee on Privilege and Ethics' Manipur Leg-islative Assembly chair-man MLA Nishika nt Sa-pam against 10 Kuki MLAs demanding reply within June 16, Meetei Students' Association (MSA) has de-manded the committee to place in the public domain the reply to the show cause notice.
In a release, MSA general secretary Y Paringangba condemned oppression against the innocent ag-grieved people by RAF and further stated that author-ities concerned should look into the matter.
Instead of abusing the innocent peo-ple, they should try to con-trol the Kuki militants, he added, while denouncing the use of abusive words against media persons by RAF personnel.
