CM Biren chairs meeting of MLAs

Imphal, July 03 2023: Chief minister N Biren on Monday convened a meeting at his secretariat office with some MLAs and discussed issues related to agricultural activities.

Speaking to this daily, NPP MLA Kh Loken informed that a few ministers and MLAs including the 10 Kuki MLAs failed to take part in the meet -ing which discussed on the need to take up agricultural activities with the onset of monsoon season in Manipur, Along with discussing on fertilizers (Urea) needed to carry out agricultural activities and construction/repairing of canals for irrigation purposes, the meeting also pointed out the need for the MLAs to work out require-ment of Urea in their respec tive constituencies, he said.

The MLA also said that a meeting of the officials of Minor Irrigation and Command Area Development Authority (CADA) will be conducted at 10 am on Tuesday and discuss the means to improve irrigation facilities in the state.

MLA Kh Loken also informed that the meeting of MLAs will be conducted after every 2-3 days.
