Komrem Union advises community to maintain peace and harmony

Imphal, October 26 2026: The Komrem Union, Manipur has advised all Komrem people in the State to maintain peace and harmony with all neighbouring communities as maintained since the time of their forefathers.

In a statement, the Union said any person or village that strays from traditional culture of maintaining peace and harmony with neighbours will be responsible for consequences by themselves and the Komrem community will take them as enemies of the community.

In view of present turmoil in the State, Union warned all Komrem communities against organising of conducting any sort of festivals for time being till normalcy returns.

It appealed to all communities to come together in the spirit of understanding and mutual respect to promote peace, restore harmony and work towards a peaceful future for, everyone.
