Health camp held for riot-hit people in CCpur

Rural Women Upliftment Society (RWUS), in collaboration with Churachandpur District Hospital and local private practitioners on Monday launched a two-day health camp at Churachandpur town for internally displaced persons (IDPs) of the ethnic violence.
In a release, RWUS said that on the first day, a total of 310 patients were given medical check-ups and consultations by a team of four doctors, including two from Churachandpur Hospital and two private practitioners.
This initiative aims to address the pressing healthcare needs of the displaced individuals who have been living in challenging conditions, it added.
Expressing her gratitude, RWUS secretary Mary Beth Sanate extended her heartfelt thanks for the dedicated service rendered by volunteers, doctors and supporters.
Their selfless efforts and contributions are instrumental in bringing much-needed relief and care to vulnerable IDPs, the secretary said.
